James “Jim” Gregory Price, age 66, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI with his loving family by his side. Jim was born in Chicago, IL, on July 8, 1956, son of John and Estelle (Novak) Price. He graduated from Brother Rice Catholic High School in 1974. Jim married Connie Billa on June 1, 1985 at St. Symphorosa Catholic Church in Chicago, IL. He spent the majority of his career as a tax accountant in Chicago and Fond du Lac. Jim had many hobbies: golfing, bowling on teams with his son Matt, watching Star Trek and the White Sox play, doing yard work with Connie, and going out to dinner with friends. He was a proud grandpa to granddaughter Stella. Jim is survived by his wife Connie Price of Ripon, WI; son Matthew (Megan) Price of Milwaukee, WI; granddaughter Stella Price; brother, Father John Price of Green Lake, WI; sisters: Chris (Gerold) Bielak of Issaquah, WA, Rosalie Price of Chicago, IL and Paula Price of Green Lake, WI; nieces: Stasia (Jerry) Fialkowski, Lenore Gregory and Therese Bielak; nephew, Mike Bielak; great-niece, Genevieve Fialkowski. He is preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for Jim will be held from 1:00 - 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. A prayer service for Jim will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Fr. Jim Leary, OFM Cap officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Cancer Treatment Centers of America, 2520 Elisha Ave., Zion, IL 60099.
