James “Jim” D. McConnell, age 66, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. Jim was born on December 17, 1956 and was raised in Green Lake, WI, son of Jon and Chris (Fahrenkamp) McConnell. He graduated from Green Lake High School. On June 12, 1982 Jim married Susan Phillips. He enjoyed hunting and fishing in the warm and cold times of the year. He was a mechanic for various manufacturing plants. Jim is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susan McConnell of Ripon, WI; two sons, Jason (Amanda) McConnell of Oshkosh, WI and Justin McConnell of Milwaukee, WI; two brothers, Gary (Dawn) McConnell of New London, WI and Jon McConnell of Green Lake, WI; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jon and Chris McConnell and sister-in-law Gail McConnell. Per Jim’s wishes, no funeral services will be held.
