Arden “Ardie” E. Weich, age 78, of Ripon, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Ripon Community Hospital in Ripon. Ardie was born on January 26th, 1945, in Fond du Lac, WI, son of Elmer and Virginia Weich. He graduated from Oshkosh High School. On September 10, 1966, he married Mary Ehrenberg. He worked at Mercury Marine as an expeditor for over 30 years. Ardie was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Ripon Lions Club; he was a volunteer firefighter with the Ripon Fire Department and a coach for Little League Baseball Teams in his younger years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved taking his grandchildren with him. Ardie is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Mary Weich; two sons, Rodney (Lisa) Weich and Todd (significant other, Lexi) Weich; three grandchildren, Andrew, Austin, and Erica Weich; two brothers; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Virginia Weich; a sister; a brother; and three brothers-in-law. Visitation for Ardie will be held on Saturday, February 18, from 9:00 - 11:00 am, at Grace Lutheran Church, 430 W. Griswold St., Ripon, WI 54971. A memorial service for Ardie will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Rev. Kimberly Stowell officiating. Inurnment will take place at Green Lake Center Cemetery in Green Lake WI. A memorial is being established in his name.
