The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You
may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select
will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements
mean you must purchase any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the
reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services
that you have selected.
FULL SERVICE TRADITIONAL FUNERAL
This package price is offered, as is, without deletions or substitutions. You may, however, choose
to select same services from our ITEMIZED PRICE LIST. NO FUNERAL MERCHANDISE IS INCLUDED IN THIS PACKAGE (casket burial vault, cremation urn, clothing, etc.). IT DOES
NOT INCLUDE ANY ACCOMMODATION SERVICES PROVIDED BY OTHERS such as, cemetery or crematory charges, flowers, honorariums, obituary notices, luncheon expenses, etc.
PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF
Our cost for this service includes 24-hour availability of staff, consultation, and
arrangements with family, clergy, cemetery or crematory, and others as required such as
preparing, filing and securing notices, authorizations and permits, assistance with forms
and insurance.
Also included in these charges are overhead expenses relative to our facility, such as
insurance, maintenance and utility expenses, secretarial and administrative costs, and
equipment and inventory expenses.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral
arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains.
EMBALMING
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be
necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a
visitation and viewing, if you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to
choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation
or immediate burial.
In all deaths, it is the suggestions of this funeral home and its staff that all bodies
be embalmed. if embalming is declined, refrigeration measures must be used, with
disinfection of the remains. Wisconsin State Board of Health (State Statute HSS 136.4)

FORWARDING REMAINS TO ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME
This charge includes the removal of remains, basic services of staff, a proportionate
share of overhead cost, embalming or use of refrigeration, and necessary authorizations.
This charge does not include visitation rites or ceremonies, merchandise, shipping containers, transportation to area airport or shipping charges.
RECEIVING REMAINS FROM ANOTHER FUNERAL HOME
This charge includes temporary shelter of remains, basic services of staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, and transportation of remains to cemetery or crematory.
This charge does not include visitation rites or ceremonies, merchandise, or transportation from an area airport (no credit is given on the shipping container.)
IMMEDIATE BURIAL
The charge includes removal of remains, local transportation to the cemetery, and basic
services of Funeral Director and Staff, disirifecting remains per Wisconsin State Board of
Health (State Statute HSS 136.4) & use of refrigeration.
This charge does not include any rites or ceremonies.
DIRECT CREMATION
Our charge for this service includes transfer of remains to funeral home, basic services of
funeral director and staff, preparation of body for identification prior to cremation, and
transfer to crematory. This charge does not include viewing, memorial service, or
crematory fee. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative
container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like
fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering).

The Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home will verify with Social Services in the county in which the deceased last resided. All services will be held at the Funeral Home same day, 2-hour visitation, and no cash advances will be paid by the Funeral Home.
