A. Edward Zierke, age 75, of Marshfield, WI, passed away Saturday, December 14, 1991, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
He was born October 15, 1916, in the Town of Harris, Marquette County, to Fredrick and Mary (Ludjack) Zierke. On December 30, 1939, he married Fayme Voegli who preceded him in death on August 7, 1979.
Mr. Zierke was an Army Veteran, having served in World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post #351 in Montello, V.F.W. Post #8491 in Prentice, WI, and a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield.
Survivors include one son, Gary (Brenda) Ripon, two grandchildren, Aaron and Sarah Zierke, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends may call on the family at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, 1991.
Funeral services for A. Edward Zierke will be on Tuesday, December 17, 1991 at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Reverend Stewart Crown will officiate. Interment will be in Harrisville Cemetery. A memorial has been established in Mr. Zierke’s name.
