Adela Ludjack Beier, age 79, of Ripon, died Friday morning, January 12, 2001, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born April 13, 1921, in Rush Lake, Winnebago Co., a daughter to Herman and Elsa (Abel) Grams. She graduated from Ripon High School. On April 20, 1939, she married Arthur Ludjack, and he passed away in 1974. Adela later married Harold Beier on April 11, 1991, and he passed away October 4, 1999. Over the years, Adela had been a housekeeper at Ripon College and the American Baptist Assembly, and worked in the factory at Ripon Foods. Mrs. Beier was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church and the Ripon V.F.W. Auxiliary.
Survivors include 7 children, Ardell (Richard) Schoephoester of Green Lake, Jackie (David) Steifner of Ripon, Debbie (Philip) Busse of Ripon, Pam (Jeff) Novak of Green Lake, Jandra (Mike) Freismuth of Ripon, Allen (Susie) Ludjack of Rosendale, and Keith (Georgia) Ludjack of Ripon; 11 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren, one brother, Alfred (Dorothy) Grams. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, and 2 daughters, Donna Nelson in 1990 and Karen Ludjack in 1995, two brothers; Arthur and Herb Grams, and one sister Gene Wizner.
Funeral service for Adela Beier will be 2 p.m. on Friday, January 19, 2001, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Mose officiating, with visitation from 1-2 p.m. Interment will be in Nepeuskun Cemetery, Winnebago Co. A memorial has been established!
