Mrs. Adela E. Draves, 86, of 328 Shepard St., Ripon, died Wednesday, August 29, 1990, at her residence.
She was born June 3, 1904, in Ripon, a daughter of Albert and Ida Sasada Griese. On May 9, 1923, she married Herman Draves in Ripon.
Mrs. Draves was a housewife and had lived in the Ripon area all her life. She was a lifelong member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include two daughters, LaVerne and Donna Mae Draves, both of Ripon, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. On July 20, 1985, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman.
Friends may call Friday from 4 until 8 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and Saturday from 10 am until the hour of services at the church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Draves will be held Saturday at 11 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with the Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
A memorial to the church has been established in her name.
