Adela Lorraine Luedke, age 69, of Markesan, WI, passed away on July 7, 2018, at her home in Markesan.
Adela was born February 23, 1918, in the Town of Brooklyn, WI, the daughter of Emil and Martha (Zuehls) Albright. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1936. Adela married Oscar Luedke on December 31, 1937 and she worked at Ripon Knitting Works for 15 years. She was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon and was also a charter member for the Mixers Club.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar of Markesan, WI; two sons, Orrin of Markesan, WI and Keith of Owensboro, Kentucky; two daughters, Mrs. Diana (Patrick) Steffen of Stevens Point, WI and Mrs. Janet (Richard) Sommer of Markesan, WI; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one brother, Norman of Ripon, WI. Adela was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Adela will be held on Thursday, July 9, 1987, from 5 – 8:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Adela will be held on Friday, July 10, 1987, at 11:00 am at Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon with The Reverend Harley Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
