Mrs. Adela Teetz, 73, of R#1, Rosendale, died Tuesday, October 3, 1989, at her home.
She was born February 20, 1916, in the Town of Rosendale, to Charles and Lizzie Wasmund Daehn. On April 1, 1934, she married Carl Teetz. He preceded her in death on March 14, 1979.
Mrs. Teetz was educated in West Rosendale and graduated from Rosendale High School. She was a housewife and had lived in the Rosendale Area all her life. Mrs. Teetz was a lifelong member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale and was a daughter of a charter member. She was a past member of the senior of the church and was active in the Neighborhood Card Club.
Survivors include 1 son, Arlyn of Rosendale; 4 daughters, Betty Mae Teetz of Rosendale, Arlene Roberts of Eldorado, Debra Pionke of Pickett and Judy Laper of Markesan; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband, 2 sons, 1 grandson, 1 sister, and 2 brothers.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m., at the Peace Lutheran Church, Rosendale. The Reverend Bruce Buslaff will officiate and interment will follow in the Rosendale Cemetery.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon and on Friday from noon until the time of service at the church.
