Adeline “Auntie” Daehn, age 90, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on January 29, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
Adeline was born March 31, 1894, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Herman and Louise (Helinski) Berndt. She married Frank Theodore Daehn on September 25, 1923 until his death on January 17, 1959. Adeline was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and a past Sunday School Teacher, charter member of American Legion Auxiliary and member for 64 years.
Survivors include one brother, Hellmuth Berndt of Ripon, WI and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister and brother.
Visitation for Adeline will be held on Friday, February 1, 1985, from 3 – 5:00 pm and again from 7 – 9:00 pm with an American Legion Auxiliary Service at 7:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Adeline will be held on Saturday, February 2, 1985, at 11:00 am at our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
