Mrs. Adeline Elva Kaatz, 80, of 532 Lake St., Green Lake, WI, died Friday, June 16, 1989, at her home.
She was born June 12, 1909, in Green Lake Co., to Edward and Hattie Zuehls Messerschmidt. On April 20, 1932, she married Milan Kaatz. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1981.
Mrs. Kaatz was educated in Green Lake Co. She was a housewife and had lived in the Green Lake area all of her life. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church of Green Lake. She was also a member of the Green Lake and Manchester Senior Citizens.
Survivors include one son, Clair and his wife Jan of Green Lake; one daughter, Lorna Silbaugh and her husband Roger of Madison; four grandchildren, Pamela and Ava Hamilton of San Francisco, CA, Jeffrey Hamilton and his wife Jean of Rockford, IL and Jason Kaatz of Green Lake and one brother, Clarence Messerschmidt of Green Lake.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church. The Reverend Rodney Dietsche will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
