Adeline Miller, age 77, formerly of Pickett, Town of Rosendale, died Thursday evening, May 10, 2001, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born January 3, 1924, in Waupun, the daughter of Ralph and Hattie (Vande Hock) Van Loo. She graduated from Brandon High School and in 1943, she married Roy Born. Roy died in October 1944 in France. On June 29, 1946, she married Darwin Miller. Mrs. Miller was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett.
Survivors include her children, Darwin Miller, Jr. of Pickett, Connie (Dennis) Wahoske of Ripon, Bonnie Miller of Oshkosh, Loren (Nancy) Miller of Pickett, Deborah Miller of Ripon and Barbara Miller of Ripon; grandchildren, Marni (Adam) Servais, Deanna (Paul) Clarke, Kelly (Eric) Mathes, Andrea (Kevin) Graham, Christopher (Theresa) Hoffman, Carey Lee, Colleen (Scott) Burdsall, and Elizabeth Miller; great-grandchildren, Isaac Darness, Tyler and Katelyn Mathes, Quentin Clarke, Cody Graham, Thomas Pylant, Ashley and Eian Hoffman and Caleb Burdsall. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1999, and two brothers, Charles and Arthur Van Loo.
Funeral service for Adeline Miller will be Monday, May 14, 2001, at 11 am at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett with Reverend Russell W. Kloehn officiating. Visitation will be from 9 11:00 am at the church. Interment will be in Cemetery of Peace in the Town of Rosendale. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett.
