Adeline Grace Seeliger, age 78, of Ripon, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at her home with her family by her side.
Adeline was born on November 8, 1931, in Princeton, WI, the daughter of John and Marie (Dahlke) Perr. She graduated from Ripon High School and on June 16, 1951, Adeline married Allen Seeliger in Ripon. She was a housewife and a cashier for Super Valu, Shop Rite and Pick n’ Save for 40 years. Adeline was a member of St. Catherine of Siena, enjoyed her two grandchildren, Scott and Crystal, and three great-grandchildren, fishing, gardening and going up north to Park Falls to their mobile home. She also bowled for many years and enjoyed walking and the outdoors.
Survivors include her husband Allen of 58 years of Ripon, WI; son, Allan (Carol) Seeliger of Ripon, WI; grandson, Scott (Jean) Seeliger of Altoona, IA; granddaughter, Crystal (Ken) Worley of Poplar Grove, IL; great-grandchildren, Amanda and Brooke Seeliger and Kyle Worley; brothers, Clare (Joni) Perr of Berlin, WI, Richard (Shirley) Perr of Ripon, WI, Bernard (Carol) Perr of Ripon, WI, Robert (Bonnie) Perr of Ripon, WI, Ronald (Marilyn) Perr of Ripon, WI; sisters, Marie McIntosh of Ripon, WI, Evelyn Wepner of Oshkosh, WI, Margaret (Walter) Zwolski of Ripon, WI, Joyce Perr of Ripon, WI; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Adeline was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gertrude Rozek and brother, Stanley Perr.
Visitation for Adeline Seeliger will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, May 15, 2010, from 10 – 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Adeline Seeliger will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010, at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 218 Blossom St. Ripon, WI 54971. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church or Affinity Visiting Nurses (Hospice), 816 W. Winneconne Ave. Neenah, WI 54956.
