Adolph Gustave Anklum, age 84, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, March 21, 1955 at the home of his daughter, Florence Rudolph.
Adolph was born in Pickett, WI on March 27, 1870, the son of Julius and Wilhelmina (Boelter) Anklum. On May 10, 1894 Adolph married Augusta Falk. He was a farmer in Pickett and has lived in Ripon for the past 10 years.
Adolph is survived by three sons, Herbert and Roy of Pickett, WI, and Harry of Ripon, WI; six daughters, Hazel Gallert of Pickett, WI, Florence Rudolph and Laura Miller both of Ripon, WI, Lucille Steinhilber and Irene Nahn both of Milwaukee, WI, and Hilda Kloehn of Ripon, WI; three sisters, Minnie Radke of Ripon, WI, Elsie Wittlief also of Ripon, WI, and Ida Lietz of Marathon, WI; a brother, Julius Anklum of Oshkosh, WI; 24 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Augusta Anklum and two daughters.
Visitation for Adolph will be held from 6:00 pm on Monday, March 21, 1955 until 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 23, 1955 at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 23, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Adolph will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 23, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend Carl Stubenvoll officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett, WI.
