Adolph Weinkauf, 83, of Fairwater, passed away December 8, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
He was born November 13, 1911, in Wielkova, Germany, a son to the late Johann and Bertha Muddlemuck Weinkauf. In October of 1925, at the age of 13, Adolph came from Germany and his family settled in Wisconsin in the Westfield area. After a period of time, he worked for Schley Farms near County Line Rd, South of Fairwater. On October 25, 1942, he married Mildruth Korth, and they have made their home in the Village of Fairwater where he farmed. Adolph and Mildruth recently observed their 52nd wedding anniversary. Adolph was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater and the church Brotherhood. He was a member of the Fairwater Volunteer Fire Department from 1942 1977, along with belonging to the Fairwater Rod & Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mildruth of Fairwater; three sons, Gil (Nancy) Weinkauf of Grafton, Bruce (Shirley) Weinkauf of Fairwater, and David (Nita) Weinkauf of Brandon; one daughter, Rosanne (William) Wick of Princeton; 17 grandchildren; three nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral Service for Mr. Weinkauf will be held at 1 pm Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater. Reverend Rick Pettis will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fairwater Cemetery.
Family and friends may call Sunday, from 4 until 7 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Monday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the church.
