Albert E. Hill, age 86, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, June 25, 1954, at his home.
Albert was born June 26, 1868, in Ripon, WI, the son of Hazen R. and Carrie (Windecker) Hill. He married Cassie Batchelder. Albert was the proprietor of the former Spring Grove Resort in Green Lake. He was also a former member of the Masonic Order and the former Town Clerk of Green Lake Township.
Survivors include one son, Glen of the Town of Green Lake; one grandson, Hazen Hill of the Town of Green Lake and three great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
Friends may call on Sunday, June 27, 1954, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Albert will be held on Monday, June 28, 1954, at 10:00 am at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend Patrick Murphy officiating. Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
