Albertine Scheer, age 96, of Ripon, WI passed away on Sunday, August 2, 1953 at Fuller Nursing Home in Ripon.
Albertine was born in Germany on August 10, 1856, the daughter of William and Joan (Galhardt) Keller. She came to Green Lake Center from Germany in 1883 and lived there until 1947, and moved to Ripon after that. She married Ferdinand Scheer in Germany.
Albertine is survived by five daughters, Bertha Phaff of Mobridge, SD, Emma Dahlke of Ripon, WI, Ella Johns of Joliet, IL, Mrs. Frank Heller of Appleton, WI, Martha Ziehlke of Minneapolis, MN; two sons, Charles and Albert Scheer both of Ripon, WI; fifty grandchildren; seventy great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Pauline Schalow and Bertha Prellwitz both of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Joan Keller; husband, Ferdinand Scheer; one daughter; two sons; two sisters and three brothers.
Visitation for Albertine will be held from 12:00 pm on Monday, August 3, 1953 until 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 1953 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Albertine will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 4, 1953 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake, WI.
