Albina Greenway, age 100, Ripon, died November 5, 1995 at Sunnyview Health & Rehabilitation in Princeton.
She was born May 14, 1895 in Ducan, Missouri, a daughter of the late John and Nancy (Schively) Dehlinger. In 1900 she moved to Green Lake. She was educated in Green Lake and Milwaukee, and on September 14, 1914, she married David Greenway. Albina clerked at the Green Lake Post Office. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake and was a lifelong member of the Royal Neighbors. In the past 17 years Albina made her home at Russell Manor in Ripon.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Genevieve (Norman) Priske of Green Lake; 1 son, John David (Beth) Greenway of Arkansas; 8 grandchildren, Steven, Pamela, Mary, Teresa, John David Jr, Thomas, Terrence and Leann.; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 26, 1940, and a grandson David.
There will be no visitation. A private Mass will be held Tuesday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Green Lake. The Rev. John R. Dowd will officiate and interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
