Aldon "Huntz" Wetzel

Aldon “Huntz” Wetzel, 72, of Ripon, WI, died February 17, 1994, at his home.
He was born in the Town of Ripon on June 15, 1921, the son of Wilbert and Clara (Stellmacher) Wetzel. He married Lorraine Schure on September 21, 1946. Aldon was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, the Christian Service Sunday School and the Pickett Antique Club. He farmed all his life near Ripon.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; one daughter, Mary of Waukesha; one son Gary (Janis) Wetzel of Sun Prairie; 3 step-grandchildren, Liz, Becky and Michael Luce; and one sister, Inez (Donald) Stellmacher of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Vida Liptow.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 19, 1994, at Immanuel United Methodist Church. The Reverend Howard Ott will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Friends may call from 9-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church. A memorial has been established for the church.
