Alfred A.J. Joseph Wrzinski, age 76, of Ripon, passed away on Friday, December 18, 1992, at his home.
He was born November 9, 1916, in Ripon, a son to Henry and Anna (Jantz) Wrzinki. Following his education in Ripon, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1940 until 1945. On May 18, 1945, he married Ann Vranek. A.J. was a carpenter, as well as owner of the Ripon Auto Salvage. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, and was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion. His hobby was building things with his hands and he loved little kids.
In addition to his wife, Ann, he is survived by two daughters, Pat Wrzinski and Lori (Harry) Christensen, both of Ripon; two sons, Henry (Beryl) Wrzinski and Joe (Sue) Wrzinski, both of Ripon; six grandchildren, Jamie, Beau, Nichole, Matt, Rebecca, and Emily; and one great-grandson, Brandon. Two children, Sharon and Joseph henry Wrzinski, and a son-in-law, Alvin Immel preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Mr. Wrzinski will be held Monday, December 20, 1992 at 10:00 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend William L. Toelle will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. Friends may call Sunday, December 19, 1992 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, where a Prayer Vigil will be said at 4:15 p.m., followed by a Legion Service at 4:45 p.m.
