Alfred Herman Pretz, 83, of Fairwater, WI, died Thursday, October 27, 1994, at St. Mary Hospital in Madison.
He was born November 14, 1910, in Batterman Junction, WI, a son to the late William and Philipine Kapp Pretz. He was educated in Neshkoro. On September 19, 1940, he married Irma Nitz. Mr. Pretz worked at Koplin-Kinas of Green Lake until his retirement. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and a member of the Ushers Club for 35 years. He was also a member of the Fairwater Fire Department and the Fairwater Rod and Gun Club.
He is survived by his wife, Irma; one son, Steven W. Pretz of Ripon and one sister, Minnie Schultz of Wautoma. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral Service for Alfred H. Pretz will be held Monday, October 31, 1994, at 11:30 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fairwater Cemetery in Fairwater.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until the time of the funeral service Monday at the church.
