Alfred W. Schultz, 94, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011, at Michalenes in Ripon.

Alfred was born on October 24, 1916, in the Town of Brooklyn, Green Lake County, the son of Herman and Dorothy (Malzhan) Schultz. He attended Green Lake Schools. Alfred served his country during WWII in the 62nd A.I.B. Co. C, 14th Armored Division of the US Army. He worked from 1936-1981 (45 years) at Ripon Foods in the warehouse. Alfred was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, and was a church usher for many years, and was also a member of the Schultz-Klemp-Wentland V.F.W. Post #5278 in Ripon. On Oct 16, 1940, Alfred married Eleanore Wahoske, who passed away on September 9, 1997.

Survivors include many cousins and friends.

Visitation for Alfred W. Schultz will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for Alfred W. Schultz will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. Memorial may be given to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon in Alfred’s name.

The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice Hope of Agnesian Care, Ripon Medical Center, and Michalenes for their kind and loving care given to Alfred.
