Alfred Arthur Zick, age 71, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 1957, at his home.
Alfred was born October 30, 1885, in Ripon, WI, the son of John Martin and Wilhelmina (Uecker) Zick. He was educated in the Ripon Schools. On September 16, 1911, Alfred married Ida Lange in Oshkosh. He worked as a carpenter. Alfred was a life member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Ripon, Brotherhood of the Church and Alderman of the 3rd Ward of Ripon for 8 years. He was also worked for the National Guard Company of Ripon for many years.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Graham of Heidelberg of Germany; one granddaughter, Vergene; two brothers, Robert of Ripon and John of Janesville and one sister, Mrs. Robert Lehman of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Friends may call on Tuesday, April 9, 1957, after 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Alfred will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 1957, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
