Alice Louise Belling, age 79, of the Town of Eldorado, WI, passed away on Thursday evening, March 17, 2011, at Manor Care in Fond du Lac, WI.
Alice was born on November 6, 1931. On October 20, 1951, she married Donald Belling. They farmed all their life in the Town of Eldorado until retirement. She was a member of the Eldorado Lions Club for the past 19 years. In 2010, she received the Birch-Sturm Fellowship award. Alice was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and a former member of the church choir in Rosendale.
Survivors include her husband, Donald of the Town of Eldorado, WI; one daughter, Joyce (Glenn) Becker of Rosendale, WI; one son, Roger Belling of Fond du Lac, WI; five grandchildren, Renee (Eric) Van Nocker, Faren and Elyse Becker, Adam (fiancée Brittany Bell) and Jared (fiancée Jessie Krueger) Belling; one great-granddaughter, Piper Louise Van Nocker; two sisters, Florence Haase of Brandon, WI and Mildred Simon of Rosendale, WI; one sister-in-law, Josie Priepke; godchild, JoAnn Priepke of Fond du Lac, WI; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by brothers and a sister.
Visitation for Alice Belling will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011, from 11 – 1:00 pm at Peace Lutheran Church, 124 S. Main St. Rosendale, WI 54974.
Funeral Service for Alice Belling will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. Reverend Charles R. Thompson will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church Endowment Scholarship Fund.
