Alice Dornfeld, age 75, of 431 Spaulding St. Ripon, passed away March 23, 2002 at Michalenes.
Alice was born November 9, 1926 in Beaver Dam, WI., a daughter to Albert J. and Minni (Manski) Hammer. She graduated from Rosendale High School and U.W. Oshkosh. On November 4, 1950 she married Herbert Dornfeld. Alice was employed as a Ripon Public School teacher for 33 years, teaching second grade elementery for most of those years. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon. She loved spending time at their cabin at Tuttle Lake as well as caring for her flowers and plants.
Survivors include her husband, Herbert of Ripon; one son, Randal of Ripon; one brother, Albert Hammer of Mississippi, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 26, 2002 from 4-7 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2002 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon with Rev. Rebecca A. Johnston officiating. Interment will be at Garden of the Cross Cemetery, City of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
