Alice M. Hazlewood, age 89, of Ripon, died Thursday, March 19, 1998, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon.
She was born June 18, 1908, in the Town of Green Lake, a daughter to the late William and Florence (Bazeley) Hill. She was a graduate of Ripon High School. She married Edward Amos Hazlewood on August 7, 1937, in Crown Point, IN. For many years she helped her husband, Ed on their own family farm in the Town of Green Lake. Alice formerly served in the Farm Bureau, was a 4-H Leader, and was instrumental in the upkeep and management of the Center House Cemetery in the Town of Green Lake.
Survivors include I brother-in-law, Ross (Grace) Hazlewood of Markesan; a nephew, Ralston (Dorothy) Schroeder of Ripon, a niece, Donna (Clayton) Pamenter of Fairwater; other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 9, 1990, 1 son, William and 3 sisters.
Funeral services for Alice Hazlewood will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 1998, at 2:00 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with The Reverend David Busker officiating. Interment will be in the Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 PM until the hour of the services at the funeral home. A Memorial has been established.
