Alice D. Pollack, age 86, N7131 Hwy 44-49, Ripon, passed away Saturday evening, February 18, 2006 at Michalene’s in Ripon.
She was born March 30, 1919 in Poy Sippi, a daughter to John and Laura (Bucholtz) Sattler, Sr. She was educated in Poy Sippi. On November 7, 1942, she married Gilbert Pollack in Poy Sippi. Alice was a homemaker and member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ of Ripon.
She is survived by two daughters, Joanne (James) Baneck, Butte des Morts, and Judy (Robert) Lueck, Rosendale; one son, Larry (Deborah) Pollack, Ripon; four grandsons, Douglas (Amanda) Baneck, Winneconne; Kevin (JoAnn) Baneck, Oshkosh; Gregory (Kelli) Baneck, Butte des Morts; Christopher Pollack, Ripon; one granddaughter, Crystal Pollack, Appleton; three great-grandchildren, Brooke and Trent Baneck of Butte des Morts, and Mackenzie Baneck of Winneconne. She is further survived by her brother, John (Georgia) Sattler, Poy Sippi; three sisters, Stella Wendt, Weyauwega; Lydia (Chuck) Lind, Pine River; Marjory (Frank) Muscavitch, Fremont; and sisters-in-law, Elnora Manske, Ripon; and Laverne Guerts, DePere. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Pollack, on September 2, 1979.
Funeral services for Alice D. Pollack will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2006, at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon, with the Reverend Mark R. West officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 22, 2006 from 4 – 8 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon and on Thursday, February 23, from 10 – 11 a.m. at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon. Internment will be in Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery, Town of Metomen. A memorial has been established.
