Alice B. Prellwitz, 88, of Ripon, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at Wolverton Glen Assisted Living Facility in Ripon.
Alice was born in Clarke County, WI, on September 22, 1921, the daughter of Paul and Bessie (Sharp) Wepner. She graduated from Ripon High School and married Raymond Prellwitz January 12, 1944, in Ripon. Alice was a farm wife for 50 years, a gardener and baker by avocation and totally involved in her family always. She was a lifetime member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, the Homemakers Club of Rush Lake, United Methodist Women, and she was a square dancer.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Gary) Peterson of Wausau, WI, Ann (Robert) Ehrenberg of Ripon, WI, Barbara (Randy) Mlodzik of Kaukauna, WI; sons, Charles (Diane) Prellwitz of Ripon, WI and Jeffrey (Sheri) Prellwitz of Ripon, WI; grandchildren, Julie (Olman) Sauceda, Christopher (Kris) Peterson, Andrew (Stephanie) Prellwitz, Jenny Brooks, Ryan (Megan) Prellwitz, Amanda (Cory) Damaschke, Ben Mlodzik, John (Lynsie) Mlodzik, Brooke (Eric) Bickert, Sam (Fiancé Meg Wuske) Prellwitz, Robin Ehrenberg, Nicole Prellwitz, Dan Mlodzik, Courtney Prellwitz, Danielle Prellwitz; great-grandchildren, Samantha Sauceda, Maria Sauceda, Emily Sauceda, Kate Peterson, Megan Peterson, Kaden Damaschke; brother, Verne (Sylvia) Wepner; sisters, Betty (Cyril) Rhode and Marge (Bob) Burling; sisters-in-law, Vera Wepner and Gloria Prellwitz. Alice was preceded in death by her husband Raymond in 1970, brothers, Robert and John Wepner; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation for Alice Prellwitz will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010, from 4 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, May 1, 2010, from 10 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Alice Prellwitz will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon. Louis Bock will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun. Memorials may be given to Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St. Ripon, WI 54971 or Wolverton Glen Assisted Living Facility, 50 Wolverton Ave. Ripon, WI 54971.
