Alice Louise Wood, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2015, at American House in Berlin.
Alice was born March 21, 1926, in Beloit, WI, the daughter of William and Mary E. (Gozinski) Louden. She graduated from high school and in 1946, Alice married Vernon L. Wood. She worked as a doctor’s assistant and was a member of the VFW Auxillary. Alice enjoyed antiquing with her son and spending time with family.
Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Jon-Eric) St. James of West Palm Beach, FL; son, Brian Michael (Anthony Frommelt) Wood of Ripon, WI; three grandchildren, Tyler (Ginia) Lindberg of Stephans City, VA and Erik and Grant Lindberg both of Denver, CO; two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Kieran Lindberg both of Stephans City, VA; two sisters, Betty Walraven of California and Doris Limbeek of Florida and one sister-in-law, Evelyn Louden of Ripon, WI. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Vernon and brother, William Louden.
A private family service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Father John Schmitz will officiate. Interment will follow at Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery in the Town of Metomen.
