Allen J. Lueck, age 71, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014 in Sioux City, Iowa as the result of an automobile accident.
Allen was born November 13, 1942, in Plymouth, WI, the son of Ervin W. and Doris E. (Schwark) Lueck. He graduated from Plymouth High School and Lakeland College. On September 10, 1988, Allen was united in marriage to Bonnie Engebregtsen, in Neenah, WI. Allen was a member of the Ripon Community Church, a friend of Bill’s for 40 years, and he touched the lives of countless people by working as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for 22 years. Al especially enjoyed spending time as “Papa” to his loving family.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Bonnie Lueck; daughters: Amy Syms (Nic Peckaitis), Coree (Eric) Van Thiel, Denise (Jim) Oehmcke; sons: Brian Lueck and Cory (Raquel) Klumb; granddaughters: Bethany Syms, Violet and Lenore Van Thiel, Anna Oehmcke, Piper Klumb; grandsons: Carson Syms-Erke, Miles Van Thiel, JJ Oehmcke; great-granddaughter, Zoey Syms; nephew, Todd (Mari) Krueger, Chelsea and Austin; nephew, Troy Krueger and family; brother-in-law, Russell Krueger. He is further survived by the Engebregtsen family. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Chris Engebregtsen; sister, Sandy Krueger; and his parents.
Visitation for Allen J. Lueck will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Ripon Community Church, 155 State Street, Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial Service for Allen J. Lueck will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. at Ripon Community Church, Ripon. Pastor Jack Igel will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Ledgeview Memorial Park in Fond du Lac. Memorials may be sent to Blandine House, 25 North Park Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935.
