Allen Schultz

Allen A. Schultz, 72, of the Town of Brooklyn, died Monday, May 11, 1998, at his home.

He was born December 5, 1925, in Ripon, a son to Joseph and Minnie (Schulz) Schultz. He attended McConnell Country School and schooled until ½ way through the 11th grade in Ripon. He married the former Mardelle Fenner on June 11, 1949. Allen retired after farming all his life. He had also worked as equipment manager at Ripon College, summers at Terra International and in the Print Shop at Speed Queen. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.

Survivors include his wife, Mardelle; 2 children, Jerry (Donna) Schultz of St. Louis, MO and Nan (Wayne) Hanson of Ripon; 4 grandchildren, Traci and
Tim Schultz of St Louis and Jeremiah and Sarah Hanson of Ripon; 1 sister, Linda Lueck of Ripon; I brother, Melvin (Elva) Schultz of Ripon; 1 sister-in-law,Eunice Schultz of Ripon; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chet and Arlene Fenner of Ripon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and their families.
He was preceded in death by I brother, Harold Schultz, I sister, Norma Stotz and 2 brothers-in-law, Franklin Lueck and Ray Stotz.

Funeral service will be Thursday, May 14, 1998, at 10:00 AM at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with the Reverend David Busker officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again on Thursday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. A memorial has been established.
