Allen Weston

Allen F. Weston, 87, of Route 4, Markesan, died Tuesday, October 9, 1990, at Berlin Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 25, 1902, in Milwaukee, the son of Thomas C. and Lilla Folts Weston. On September 1, 1934, he married Phebe Williams in Rockford, IL.

Mr. Weston graduated from Ripon High School. He also was a Ripon College graduate with a PhD in chemistry, class of 1926. Mr. Weston worked in the Ripon State Bank and subsequently got an apprenticeship at Falk Corporation in Milwaukee. Most of his life he worked in the field of personnel, eventually becoming President of Personnel Inc. He was Vice-President and Secretary of the Industrial Relations Association of Wisconsin. For a number of years he was an Assistant Supervisor of Apprenticeship for the State of Wisconsin. One year he was loaned to the Apprenticeship Division of the U.S. Department of Labor.

He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Susan Weston of Mequon, and many family friends.

Friends may call from 1 until 2:30 P.M. Saturday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Graveside services for Mr. Weston will be held at 3 P.M. Saturday at the Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake. The Reverend Lawrence Janssen will officiate.
