Alma Marie (Raasch) Lynch, age 91, died Saturday, July 8, 2000, at the Markesan Resident Home in Markesan, WI.
Alma was born November 12, 1908, in the Village of Princeton, a daughter to August and Meta (Thiel) Raasch. She was educated at a rural school in Rush Lake and on November 23, 1936, she married Edwin Lynch. Alma and Edwin farmed side by side their entire life in the Rush Lake area. She was a past member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Survivors include a sister, Dora Haglund of Pewaukee, WI; two nephews, Garry (Deanna) Gehrke of Ripon and Wayne (Sandy) Gehrke of Green Bay; one niece, Jan (Will) Hendrix of Whitefish, MT. she is also survived by several other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters, Iva Craig and Irene Raasch.
Friends may call on Monday, July 10, 2000, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm with services following at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Interment will be on Tuesday, July 11, 2000, at 9:30 am at Nepeuskun Cemetery.
