Alma Manske, age 90, of 977 Metomen St. Ripon, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2004 at Ripon Medical Center.
Alma was born September 28, 1913 in Ripon, a daughter to Wilhelmina and Gustave Conrad. She attended Ripon schools and married Herman Manske in 1931. She was employed for a time at Lambskin Slipper Co., Berlin and was a housewife and farmed with her husband Herman on farms in the Ripon and Berlin areas. Alma was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ripon.
Survivors include; Daughter, Joan (Robert) Drake, Madison; Son-in-law, Herbert Kohn, Ripon; Grandchildren, Susan of Ripon and Roseanne, Allen and Linda of Madison. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Schmitt and a brother, Reinold Conrad, both of Ripon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Jeanne, three brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, all at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ripon. Rev. Paul Mose will officiate. Interment will be at Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery, Town of Metomen. Memorials may be directed to Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ripon.
