Alma Sasada

Alma Marie Sasada, 90, of Ripon, died Sunday, June 12, 1994, at the Americana Health Care Center, Fond du Lac, where she resided for a brief time.

She was born on June 7, 1904, in the Town of Rosendale, a daughter to Ernest and Anna (Hempel) Wohlschlegl. She graduated from Rosendale High School. On January 5, 1925, she married Elmer Lorenz Sasada, and they farmed in Green Lake County before moving to Ripon. Elmer passed away on October 25, 1992. Alma was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.

She is survived by one son, Elmer (Geraldine) Sasada, Jr. of Fond du Lac, three brothers, five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elmer, and one sister, Leona.

Friends may call Thursday from 4 until 7:30 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral services for Alma Sasada will be held at 7:30 pm, on Thursday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate. Interment will be in the Rosendale Cemetery, Village of Rosendale. A memorial has been established in her name for Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon.
