Aloysius P. Budy, age 78, of Green Lake, WI, and Ruskin, FL, passed away on Monday, March 11, 1991, at his home in Green Lake.
Aloysius was born in the Ironwood, MI area on October 14, 1912, the son of Alois and Ann Bonazza Budy. He received his schooling in the Ironwood area. Al lived in Milwaukee for about 40 years and retired from the Milwaukee Post Office after 28 years of service.
He is an Army veteran and member of the American Legion Willis-Chapel Post #306 of Green Lake. He belonged to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Parish. Al enjoyed fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Doris whom he married on June 24, 1939; a son, Jerry (Liz); a daughter, Paulette (Michael) and three grandchildren, Phaedra Budy, Nicholas and Ruth Siebers. Also surviving are three sisiters, Rose Lambie, Kae (Harold) Lee, Rita (Joseph) Grasso and a sister-in-law, Ethel Budy. Also surviving are other sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake on Saturday, March 16, 1991, at 2:00 pm. The Reverend Leo Joyce will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cancer Research would be appreciated.
