Aloysius “Al” H. Felder, age 73, of Ripon, WI, died Sunday, March 24, 1996, Ripon Medical Center in Ripon.
He was born July 29, 1922, in Guttenberg, IA, a son of the late Frank and Anna Voss Felder. He attended school in Iowa. Al was a veteran of WWII having served three years in the U.S. Navy. On October 15, 1949, he married the former Esther M. Kohnke in Dubuque, IA. After moving to Ripon, Al worked at Speed Queen for thirty eight years, retiring ten years ago. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon, the V.F.W. Post #5278 of Ripon and the Speed Queen Union Local #1327.
He is survived by his wife, Esther; one son, Jerry (Cookie) Felder of Pickett; two daughters, Mary (Tim) Colegrove of Plover and Debby (Barrie) Belau of Ripon; four grandchildren, Steve and Tracy Colegrove and Stephanie and Heath Belau; three sisters, Anne Mae Lueck of Milwaukee, Leonette Bilderback of Ripon and Evelyn Riniker of Dubuque; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday, March 27, 1996, at 12:00 noon at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father John A. Schmitz officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, from 10:00 am until the time of the mass at the church. Inurnment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
