Alvin Cluppert

Alvin Martin Cluppert, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on August 8, 1986, at home.

Alvin was born May 4, 1896, in Green Lake County, WI, the son of George and Minnie (Harmel) Cluppert. He was educated in Marquette. On September 1, 1926, he married Adeline Springborn. Alvin worked as a farmer. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.

Survivors include his wife, Adeline; one son, Roger of Ripon; two daughters, Violet (William) Banks of Arkansas and Joyce (Thomas) Cotter of Ripon; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ervin of Markesan and Elmer of Berlin and five sisters, Delia Ehrenberg, Dora Bazeley, Elsie Burt, and Mary Gneiser all of Ripon and Ella Cluppert of Randolph. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

Visitation for Alvin will be held on Monday, August 11, 1986, from 4 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Service for Alvin will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 1986, at1:30 pm at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend James Mohr officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
