Alvin Robert Schwanke, 64, of N8831 Oak Rd, Pickett, died Thursday, October 11, 1990, at St. Agnes Hospital.
He was born March 5, 1926, in Oshkosh, the son of Herman and Martha Rabehl Schwanke. On May 26, 1950, he married Mavis Ferch in Oshkosh.
Mr. Schwanke was purchasing agent for Oshkosh Truck until his retirement in 1987. While working for Oshkosh Truck he spent the majority of his life at 4114 Pickett Rd, Oshkosh. Mr. Schwanke has served as an Elder in the Ripon Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
There will be no viewing; however, a Memorial Service will be held at 3 P.M. Sunday, October 14 at the Ripon Kingdom Hall. Mr. Leo Krueger will be the officiant. Following the service there will be a short visitation.
