Amanda J. Steinberg, age 58 of Ripon, WI passed away on Sunday, November 11, 1951 at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Amanda was born in Montpelier, WI on April 10, 1893, the daughter of August and Luzine (Roehl) Ullmann. She was educated in Kewannee County and worked at Ripon Knitting Works in Ripon. On April 5, 1916 she married Paul R. Steinberg, Sr. in Ripon.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Paul Steinberg; three sons, Harley, William and Paul, Jr. all of Ripon, WI; a daughter, Arline Sauer also of Ripon, WI; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Julius Ullmann and Albert Ullmann; two sisters, Mrs. Alvin Johnson and Mrs. Henry Kapplemann all of Manitowac. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Luzine Ullmann.
Visitation for Amanda will be held from 6:00 pm on Tuesday, November 13, 1951 until 11:00 am on Thursday, November 15, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 15, 1951 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Amanda will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, November 15, 1951 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
