Anita Bloch, age 87, of 38 WaWa Ave. Ripon, passed away Sunday morning, September 4, 2005, at Fountain View Care Center.

She was born in Ripon, September 5, 1917. the daughter of Henry and Elsie (Woehlke) Lieske, and was educated in Ripon. Anita married Edward Bloch on February 11, 1937, and they farmed in the Ripon and Rush Lake area for many years. She worked for the Ripon school systems in the cafeteria. Anita was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church, and was active in the Wednesday night soup and sandwich supper, Greeter and other church functions. She belonged to the Business Professional Women’s club and the ladies birthday club.

Anita is survived by 2 sons; Thomas (Mary Jo) and David (Lucy) both of Ripon. Grandchildren; Bill (Stacey) Bloch, Becky (Steve) Galvin, Rob (Brenda) Bloch, Jeff (Tina) Bloch and Jody (Steve) Solano. Great-grandchildren; Kelly and Michael Galvin, Emily and Lexie Bloch and Maddie, Ellie and Katie Bloch. Brother, Robert (Dorothy) Lieske of Ripon, Sister’s Frieda Hartwig and Violet Bushweiler of Ripon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward, 2 brother’s Arnold and Arthur Lieske and a sister Loretta Lambert.

Funeral services for Anita Bloch will be Wednesday, September 7, 2005, at 11a.m. at the Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon with the Rev. Paul W. Nulton officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home from 4 – 7 p.m. and again one hour before the funeral service. Interment will be in Loper Cemetery, town of Ripon. A memorial has been established.
