Mrs. Ann Marie Johnson Beatty, 54, of 915 Nordane, Ripon, died Saturday, January 7, 1989, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 29, 1934, in Boston, Massachusetts, to Alwyn C. and Mildred McNicholas Johnson. On June 27, 1959, she married Dr. James W. Beatty.
Mrs. Beatty graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston in 1956. She was a housewife and mother. She had lived in Ripon since 1963, and was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dr. James J. Beatty and his wife, Annette of Watertown, Massachusetts and Matthew F. Beatty of Madison; one daughter, Karen A. Beatty of Brighton, Massachusetts; her mother, Mrs. Mildred McNicholas Johnson of Boston, Massachusetts and one brother, Francis (Frank) A. Johnson and his wife, Ann T. of Brighton Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her father, Alwyn C. Johnson.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, at 10:00 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon. The Reverend William L. Toelle will officiate. Burial will follow in the Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon.
Friends may call Friday from 5 until 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, where a prayer service will be held at 8:00 pm. Memorials in her name may be directed to Emmanuel College, 400 the Fenway, Boston, MA 02115.
