Ann Drees

Ann Drees, age 64, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh after a life long battle with diabetes.

Ann was born June 11, 1948, in Two Rivers, WI, the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Koeppel) Wilfert. She graduated from Mishicot High School and went on to earn her BA in Home Economics Education at UW Stout. Ann taught Home Economics at Laconia High School in Rosendale. Ann married Walter Drees. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon.

Survivors include her husband, Walter of Rosendale, WI; one daughter, Kristy (Dan) Jakubek of Sun Prairie, WI and granddaughter, Hailey Jakubek of Sun Prairie, WI; her brothers and sisters, William (Marilyn) Wilfert of Two Rivers, WI, Eileen (Tony) Fictum of Maribel, WI, David (Terri) Wilfert of Two Rivers, WI, Judy (Michael) Hansen of Greendale, WI, Nancy (Earl) Gill of Kellnersville, WI and Joyce (Brian) Miller of Milwaukee, WI. Ann is further survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Dayna Drees and son, Michael Drees.

Visitation for Ann will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, from 9:30 – 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Mass of Christian Burial for Ann will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. A memorial is being established.
