Ann Pitcher

October 24, 1907 — July 8, 1998

Ann Cecilia Pitcher, age 90, of Green Lake, the last living member of her family of 6 brothers and 2 sisters, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 8, 1998, at Parkview Care Center, Ripon, WI. She was born October 24, 1907, to Alois and Anna Lischka Youngbauer of Hartford, WI. On September 27, 1930, she married Arlo W. Pitcher in Milwaukee, WI. She lived in the Green Lake area most of her life and was active in the Council of Catholic Women at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Farm Bureau Ladies.

Ann enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and developed her talents for painting. She also had a serious passion for bowling which she enjoyed in the later stages of her life.

Ann was loved by all and is survived by Edward (Betty) Pitcher, Norwich, KS,
Marilyn (Norman) Farrell, Green Lake, WI, Thomas (Judith) Pitcher, Mosinee,
WI, Barbara Conger, Fond du Lac, WI, and Kenneth (Patricia) Pitcher,
Greenville, SC. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and
1 great-great-grandchild, her sister-in-law, Ella Youngbauer, and nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Arlo, granddaughter
Connie Farrell and son-in-law Daniel Conger.

Family and friends may call at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, WI from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 12, 1998, where a Rosary will be said at 7
p.m. Visitation will also be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, July 13, 1998, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, WI with the Reverend John Dowd officiating.

Ann’s final resting place will be at the Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI.
