Anna Margaret Mollen, age 103, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, March 1, 1985, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Anna was born April 1, 1881, in Appleton, WI, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Bauman) Croell. She married Martin J. Mollen on August 23, 1905. Anna worked as a housekeeper for the Rectory in Port Edwards and St. Patrick in Ripon. She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Altar Society, a past member of St. Alexander’s Church, Catholic Order of Nekoosa Forresters and Catholic Daughters of Wisconsin Rapids.
Survivors include one son, Ray of Port Edwards, WI; two daughters, Marie (Howard) Van Ness of Lodi, WI and Margaret (George) Johnson of Ripon, WI; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1935 and three children.
Visitation for Anna will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 1985, from 9:30 – 11:00 am at St. Alexander’s Catholic Church in Port Edwards, WI.
Mass of Christian Burial for Anna will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 1985, at 11:00 am at St. Alexander’s Catholic Church with Reverend Thomas Mullen officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Steven’s Point, WI.
