Annie-Lorie Renner, age 76, of Markesan, WI, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2013, while under the care of Green Lake Hospice.
Lorie was born on January 7, 1937, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of August and Erna Marie (Hausen) Walz. She graduated from Custer High School, and went on to attend four years of college at Milwaukee Downer College. In 1961, Lorie was united in marriage to Robert L. Renner. Lorie worked as an Occupational Therapist, homemaker and was also employed as a Pharmacy Technician at the Waupun State Prison. Her hobbies included cross stitch, reading, gardening, bird watching and enjoying time with her grandchildren. Lorie was a volunteer at Ripon Hospital, as well as a member of various nature groups including: Sierra Club, Nature Conservancy, Audubon Society, National Wildlife Federation, NDRC, and Humane Society.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Renner, Markesan, WI; daughter, Patricia L. Renner, Brown Deer, WI; daughter Judith L. Bubolz, Ripon, WI; granddaughters, Danielle Marie Slotke, Brown Deer, WI, Andrea Slotke, Brown Deer, WI, Alix Sauld, Lake Mills, WI, Bailey Sauld, Superior, WI, Carly Sauld, Ripon, WI, and beloved watchdog Penny. She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Erna Walz.
Per Lories wishes there will not be any funeral services. A memorial is being established.
In remembrance of Mom, there will be a picnic/celebration for Annie-Lorie Renner on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 pm. This will be held at the Fairwater Civic Center in Fairwater, WI. Please bring a dish to pass, all are welcome to come and share any memories or stories about Lorie.
