Mr. Anthony J. Otto, 74, of 130 W. Marquette St., Berlin, WI, died Monday, August 14, 1989 at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
He was born August 26, 1914, in Granite City, IL, to Anthony and Rose Bade Otto. On June 1, 1937, he married Wilma Zorn in Fall City, Nebraska.
Mr. Otto was educated in Fall City, Nebraska. He had been a distributor for Continental Oil Company for 35 years. He also ran the American Family Insurance Agency for 15 years. He had lived in Fall City, Nebraska, Green Lake and most recently in Berlin. He was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake and a member of Mascoutin Country Club in Berlin.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Dr. Robert Otto of Pleasanton, California; Dr. John Otto of Omaha, Nebraska; Fred Otto of Park Ridge, IL and William Otto of Brandon, WI; and 11 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6 until 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where a Rosary will be recited at 8:00 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. The Reverend Leo Joyce will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial in his name has been established.
