Anthony B. Zitzelsberger, age 76, of Ripon, WI passed away on Thursday, December 20, 1951 at his home.
Anthony was born in Beveria, Germany on December 5, 1875, the son of Anton and Therese Zitzelsberger. On January 27, 1904 he married Mary J. Kajewske. Anthony was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Order of Foresters. He worked as a Brewmiester.
Anthony is survived by his wife, Mary Zitzelsberger of Ripon; five daughters, Marie Zitzelsberger of Milwaukee, WI, Dorothy Kiesling of Ripon, WI, Caroline Van Noort of Ripon, WI, Cecelia Freund of Fond du Lac, WI, Genevieve Flack of Milwaukee, WI; a son, Paul of Milwaukee; and ten grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Therese Zitzelsberger and one son.
Visitation for Anthony will be held from 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 22, 1951 until 9:00 am on Monday, December 24, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service for Anthony will be held at 9:00 am on Monday, December 24, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again at 9:30 am on Monday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, with Reverend Joseph Platta officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in Ripon.
