Anton Reger Jr., age 72, of Ripon, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Fountain View Care Center, Ripon.
Tony was born on September 18, 1935 in Veprovac, Jugoslavia, the son of Anton and Theresia (Hutzel) Reger Sr. He attended schools in Europe and the United States. On August 18, 1956 he married Joan Coates in Milwaukee, WI. Tony was a Carpenter/Master craftsman, boat builder. He was a member of Warrington Presbyterian Church, and a Life Member of the South Shore Yacht Club of Milwaukee. Anton loved to race and sail boats on Lake Michigan with his wife, family and many, many good friends all of whom loved him and will miss him dearly.
Suriviors include his wife, Joan of Ripon, two sons, Roy (Nenita) Reger of Pensacola, FL, and Alan (Yolanda) Reger of Miami, FL; two grandsons, Roy (Mary) Reger Jr., and Leoncio Reger, both of Milwaukee, WI; two great-grandchildren, Caden Reger, and Hadley Reger both of Milwaukee, WI, and one sister-in-law, Joyce (Eugene) Pischke of Ripon. Anton was preceded in death by his Parents, and one sister, Eva Behule. A memorial service for Anton Reger Jr. will be held in late September. Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, is assisting the family.
