Ardis C. Beyer, 67, of 504 Russell Dr, Ripon, died Monday, May 22, 1995, at Michalene’s Supportive Care Facility in Ripon where she has resided the past 2 weeks.

Ardis was born November 14, 1927, in Rush Lake, a daughter of the late Hubert and Minnie (Lueck) Neitzke. She was attended school at St John’s in Berlin. She married Ralph Sauer on March 29, 1947 and he passed away on April 28, 1953. She then married Leo Beyer on October 24, 1975, and they lived in the Manawa area for 18 years.

Ardis had worked at the Ripon Knitting Works for many years and at Lincoln Foster Sailmakers in Oshkosh. She was a loving mainstay to her family and many friends, especially those at Russell Manor Retirement Community in Ripon. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon. Ardis was an active supporter of many civic and church organizations.

She is survived by her son, Duane (Tina) Sauer of Ripon; 2 grandchildren, Heather Sauer of Green Bay and Heidi Sauer of Ripon; 1 step—daughter—in—law, Darlene Beyer of Beaver Dam; 1 step—son, Kenn (Diane) Beyer of Manawa; and 2 step—grandchildren, Clint and Ross Beyer. She is further survived by 1 brother, Robert (Mary Ellen) Neitzke of Tenn.; 4 sisters, Leona (Charles) Bodman of Appleton, Elda (Harold) Bertschy of Appleton, Marion (Cecil) Piper of Oshkosh, and Doris (ELmer) Tetzlaff of Oshkosh; 1 sister-in-Law, Marian Neitzke of Rush Lake, and many friends at Russell Manor
Retirement Community. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Irma, Vilice and Goldie, 2 brothers, David and Melvin; her husband, Ralph Sauer in 1953 and Leo Beyer in 1993.

Funeral services for the late Ardis C. Beyer will be at 2 P.M. Thursday, May 25, 1995, at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon. The Reverend Eric Burnard will officiate. Interment will follow in Nepeuskun Cemetery, Winnebago Co. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12 noon until the time of the service at the church.

In Lieu of flowers, the family will give memorial contributions to either Hospice Hope or the Cancer Society.
